Apartment Review for Olympic Village Apartments - Norfolk, VA

I lived in these so called apartments for 6 months and it was nothing but a headache. The neighbors around me always had their music up very loud at all times of the night. There were holes in the walls; some they attempted to patch up and some still visible. And the rodents were everywhere. I seen roaches on a daily basis, spiders stayed in the bathroom and bedroom, and I seen at least 3 rats running around the apartment. If it wasn't the music blasting, the rodents were scratching in the walls at night. I had my friend stay over one night and I was so embarrased that he had to see the rats running around. He didn't want to come back and suggested I come to his place next time. The management always posted notes about high water usage and for some reason always wanted to come in the apartment and inspect something. Yet when a call was placed to the office about the rodents, no one responded to any of them. When everything was over, I ended up with almost $1500 in fees for breaking the lease. I hope people go to this website and read about this place before moving in. This place has taught me to check the postings about apartments and I know where to steer clear of. I wouldn't recommend a soul to these apartments.
