Apartment Review for Arbor Pointe - Norfolk, VA

I moved into a two bedroom in the middle of February of this year. It was a saturday. That monday, I immediatley started seeing roaches. I flipped out. It took the THREE WEEKS, to come out and spray. They never came during the initial complaint;nor the second. Then I had these other little bugs in my apartment. Maintenance advised me that they were termites but the PROPERTY MANAGER,stated that it was, "simply from the trees outside". I mean these bugs were EVERYWHERE! I woke up one morning and there they were. The MANAGER tried to convince me that it wasn't a big deal. WHATEVER!!! Also, during my first week here, a door hanger was placed on my door from the water department, advising ALL tenants that the water may be shut due to non payment!! I just couldn't believe it! I've never lived anywhere like this before. It's a mess. The hallways are dirty. They don't keep them up. It's halfway painted. I thought that they would finish it but they never did. The stairs that lead down the back are caving in. They came to fix it after I compained twice, only to put caulking on the steps. HELLO!!!! What is that supposed to do? Maintenance also informed me that the entire foundation here needs to be done over. There are also big gigantic roaches that greet you everytime you step outside. They are everywhere. We even had a "neighborhood meeting", sharing our discomforts and issues with this h*ll hole.Can't wait until my lease is up so that I can get out of here. PLEASE SKIP THIS PROPERTY!!!
