Apartment Review for Breezy Point Apartments - Norfolk, VA

I came to live here because of the fact that everything around here seems nice enough and so did the people. Well, every month, I've been harassed by management because supposedly we didn't pay our rent and there were some discrepencies found over a two month period (October-November), yet I was not notified until January. Every month this stuff came up, it was told to me by management that it was resolved, even in January. Well, in February, we received the same notice as in January but with more late charges tacked on. I went into the office as usual to resolve it and, as usual, was very patient (considering the situation) for about 45 minutes and just when I was thinking about finally just going off, the manager started screaming at me because she disagreed with the fact that they may be irresponsible with payments. So, I called the Better Business Bureau. Which seemingly worked because at about the same time I received a note on my door saying, "Sorry, our mistake. You only owe $20 for a cat fee." Which I had also been told was not due when they claimed I missed it. But I paid it anyway. And then, just today, on top of all the racket and crappy maintenance and security, a woman (may she rest in peace) was killed a block outside of the gate. If anyone were to tell me they wanted to move here, I do believe I would have to kick their ass. This is not the kind of situation you want to be in when you're just trying to live a somewhat peaceful life!!!!
