Apartment Review for Breezy Point Apartments - Norfolk, VA

PROS: -close to base, commisary, and NEX -cheap. i think they raised rent for 07 to 715 for a 1 BR, but with all utilities inc. except for elecrtic(norm 70-month and cable and internet 103-month) its pretty cheap -i have never ever had a rodent problem here, never seen a mouse, roach or anything of the sorts. They have a exterminator come every other month and they always give you a few days notice. Ive been here when theyve done it in the past, and each time the guy was very professional and friendly, and they have a member of the staff escort him to all the apartments for added safety. - parking isnt bad for us. There is the main part of the complex, and across the street there are more apartments, like a sub complex.....I live in those, and since there arent many apartments over here, weve never had a problem finding a spot. I can see how on the main side parking may be an issue though. -the security is alright, i like the gated fence, and i like how there is a door to each complex that remains locked so no one can just walk on in and have access to the apartments. - i really havent had probs with noise here either.

CONS -the kitchen is kind of small. I can only fit a dish rack, cutting board, microwave, some cookbooks and a knife set on the counter, i wish they had more room -the appliances are old and outdated. they work, but my oven and refrig are OLD!! they work fine, but I wish they would update them, just for the overlook of the apartment - the washer and dryer are old. There are 2 sets in each complex. Ive never had a problem getting my laundry done when needed, and they seem to work fine, but again I just wish they would update them.

I really really like it here. Ill admit there are other nicer places in the Hampton Roads are, but these arent disgusting by any means. For a young couple just starting out, this is the place to be!!
