Apartment Review for Breezy Point Apartments - Norfolk, VA

my husband and i moved into a 2 bedroom apartment mainly the location and i felt safe with the gate(yeah feeling safe as they gate laid on the ground or bushes broken off half the time!). first of all, the walls are paper thin! i understand thats apartment living but honestly i do not want to hear peoples conversations from the apartment below me! another thing was i would go to the pool and get hit on by the lifeguard. very inapproriate. being i had a ring on my finger! he would ask to come to my apartment as well as ask if he could kiss me. one day i was laying out reading my book and he came over and said "you look hot i could cool you off, why don't you take off that top and let them breathe" i filed a complaint with head of maintance while in tears, i do not appreciate trying to relax on a nice day while a guy hits on me who is suppose to be working! my husband was even more upset about the situation and ended up yelling at the lifeguard personally. havent gone to the pool since. maintance never did anything about the situation. he was still working up until the pool closed in sept. this incident happened june. another thing is the people here LOVE to blair there base systems at late hours in the night! one night there was a group of people outside playing music drinking and screaming! i called maintance(off hours) and they said they couldn't do anything! so i called the police. just last week a car backed into another one and drove off! how nice is that, thats the kind of people who could be your neighbors! the management is terrible! rude and love to smoke outside ironically when something has come to my attetion. they told us our pet rent was late and i went into the office with checkbook and bank statement and told them it was paid! we have bugs, maintance doesn't do anything, parking is unreal, and the lifeguard...FORGET IT! i've had it with this place! we got out of our lease early because of all the factors! do not waste your time or money!
