Apartment Review for Buckingham Apartments - Norfolk, VA

The only reason i've lived in this unit for as long as i have is because i don't have time to pack and move! When i first moved in my rent was 750, which was reasonable for this sh*thole, being that its located in the center of ghent. The rent has been increased three times!! I know my neighbors well and only a few have had theirs raised. i've made multiple attempts to contact cooke and neff (now william e wood, which is just as terrible btw) to take care of maintenance. I've had three major leaks in bathroom that were ignored and lead to a hotwater pipe bursting in my bedroom, damaging EVERYTHING that i owned! I lived without bedroom and bathroom walls and ceiling for a month and never received the compensation i was promised. Located right on Hampton Blvd...all i hear is traffic and trucks all day long. All night long i hear my a-hole neighbors dogs on the porch and college kids getting wasted. Parking is the worst! I have to park 3 blocks away (seriously, no exageration) six days a week. We have a massive bug problem. Not sure what these bugs are called but they look like a silverfish and a millipede had super babies! They are giant and terrifying. Im considering therapy over these insects. Crappy hardwood floors. The radiators come on when ever they want. I could go on and on. My main issues are really with the realty company.
