Apartment Review for Colony Point Apartments - Norfolk, VA

My husband and I moved in here in October 2004 to be close to his new duty station. We thought that everything looked fine on the outside and inside...UNTIL we moved in. First problem was the gas, they were charging us for another unit's gas and took months to fix. Then when the rent went up about 3 times...they said that we didnt sign the paper so we were paying month to month, when we did sign it but they LOST IT! Then the noise from the man above us was terrible. All hours of the night. I cant tell you how many times we called security...it took them about an hour to tell him to turn it down. We wrote a complaint letter to the office twice about it and they kept warning him and telling us that he had one more chance one more chance but that was a lie. SPIDERS! i havent seen so many spiders in one room in my entire life...not to mention tiny little knats. They just paint over cracks in the walls..chipped walls...it looks like crap and looks old. If I would have known that it was going to be like this i definitely would not have wasted my time or money moving in this dump. Stay away...if you are in the military looking for a close place....its worth it to drive the extra 5 or 10 miles, trust me!
