Apartment Review for Ingleside Square Apartment - Norfolk, VA

I finally moved into my new home...yay!!!!! So excited about it and a huge upgrade from Ingleside Square Apartments. I will not miss Ingleside one bit...lived there for 4 months and had to get the heck up outta there, not the place for me. And for those that still live out there: -be safe -move to the second floor -remove any valuable items from your vehicle or make sure any radio and/or sound system is bolted down -try to avoid being out late at night or coming home late. Ingleside Square, don't live there...if you can avoid please do, because Norfolk City Police do not give a rats behind about the area or the people in it. I hated the bathroom and kitchen but the inside isn't the worst. No central air. Summer is extra hot on the second floor because there's no way of completely shutting down the heater. These apartments were built in the 70's and they look it on the inside. For a 2 bedroom rent is around $600. My Explorer was broken into within a month of me moving there. My amp was stolen from the back. My roommate's car was broken into twice (less than 3 months apart). They tried to steal her radio but it was bolted down. Parking is parallel and a lot of people don't know how to parallel park so make sure you leave space between your car. I noticed a couple dents on my bumper. I know there's more but that is all i can think of for now. If this is an only option for you be wary of the aforementioned information and take necessary precautions. All the people out there aren't bad, my next door neighbor was great, just a lot of knuckleheads who have nothing better to do with their time.
