Apartment Review for Merrimack Landing Apts - Norfolk, VA

You are simply looking for shelter...4 walls and a roof, then this is the place to live. The ceiling in the bathroom peels every time the shower gets too hot, the roof in the living room has caved in twice after heavy rains...maintenance came and patched it up. The closet doors come off every time. There is no storage space. Twice we asked for the caulking to be replaced on the bathtub, twice they used something that never hardened and came apart like soft gum. The funny thing is that the rent seems reasonable untill you add the gas, light and cable bills, then you are looking at almost $1000 per month for a place that has miniature stove and refrigerator, no carpeting, no disposal, no dishwasher, vents are totaly non-existent, no fan in the bathroom...the most basic needs are absent. And the mangement are very rude! But the grounds are very well kept!
