Apartment Review for Merrimack Landing Apts - Norfolk, VA

I have lived here a little over a year now. This apartments is very crappy. First, of all it smells bad and the stench will not go away. Then the bottom rusted out of my hot water heater and leaked a fishy smelling liquid into my hall carpet. My air conditioning unit broke twice. My roof leaked during heavy rain and water came down through the walls and soaked the carpet in my bedroom and halls. Attenetion to this mtter took days. On the ither hand, every maintenence worker (except one who was a jerk) were very very nice and friendly. The office staff was friendly except for one girl who always had a stick stuck up her butt. The next door neighbors apartment was broken into. Where I live, you have to parallel park. My other neighbors (who hate me for some crazy unknown reason) park right on my butt so that its almost impossible for me to leave. Also, someone has hit my car while parked here. It's pretty bad here, a lot of teenagers up to no good. Also, the re is lead in the walls from old paint. That is the main reason I am moving soon I would recommend putting out the extra money to live somewhere nicer.
