Apartment Review for Merrimack Landing Apts - Norfolk, VA

My boyfriend whom I've known for about 9 years moved up to live with me. Before we had moved around a bunch because of the navy in navy housing establishments and such. He rented this apartment because it's extremely affordable. Though the place is small, we have made it our own. The one room is actually a decent size and the kitchen has the necessary appliances and space enough to add any thing extra that you might need. We were even able to fit our ginormous and greatly priced yard sale couch into the living room. If anything ever goes wrong with the house, maintenance fixes it for free. They are friendly and know what they are doing. If you call the office to set up an appointment for maintenance to work on something, they make sure that the time fits your schedule. As far as safety, let's face it it's right outside the base. There is absolutely nothing to worry about as far as whether it's a good or bad neighborhood. The parking seems tight but we all manage to fit in with out much fuss. We actually like this apartment complex so much that we're moving up to the three bedroom with the help of the friendly ladies in the office. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a great place for cheap.
