Apartment Review
When police laugh at for you living there, you kno

The apartment itself isn't bad; it's actually maintained fairly well. I never had any problems with maintenance staff leaving things unfixed. Office employees were always nice. The appliances worked great. The community however, left something to be desired. We were recommended to the apartment complex by the President of Alumni Association at ODU. After we signed the lease, he realized that Mission College wasn't the name of the apartment complex he wanted to recommend after all. Whoops, his bad. Our neighbors had domestic disputes involving police (and usually handcuffs) more than 4 times. Children were rude and vulgar and usually ran rampant across the complex at all hours of the day. Gang fights were common place. Norfolk's finest usually tried to stay away from the complex in general. I was pulled over by an officer on my way home from work one night and when he saw my address on my license, he laughed and said, "You live there!? You been robbed yet?", and when I replied that I hadn't he responded, "Just wait, you will be." Sure enough, the day I signed a new lease in Ghent was the night I was robbed at gunpoint in the parkinglot in front of the leasing office. A neighbor later told me he witnessed the robbery, but did nothing. What a great community to reside in. Not only do I not recommend ever living in this property, I recommend you warn all your friends, family, and loved ones of the bad things that will happen to them should they choose to make this hell hole their new home. Should they choose to take a chance and sign the lease, my advice is to make friends with your local "Red Shirts" gang since you're technically moving into their territory and you may also want to buy a bullet proof vest. And write your will.
