Apartment Review for Oakmont North Apartments Ii - Norfolk, VA

So I chose this place for my first home...The location was perfect since my husband was stationed at NOB and I worked at the NEX.. The place was spacious and I rarely had a problem with parking... The staff were nice and the maintenance men were wonderful...Unfortunately that is all I liked about this place...The neighborhood wasn t that great...And the ROACHES WERE OUT OF CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would spend hundreds of dollars to fly home because I couldn t cope with living there. And on top of that I was pregnant. THERE WAS NO WAY I WOULD RAISE MY BABY THERE!!!!Also, one of the staff members didn t file our 30 day notice or the papers we signed once we moved out..They tried to sue us for late rent months after we moved out...Unless you have a VERY high tolerance for bugs and drug dealers standing outside your front door...DON"T MOVE HERE!!!! I moved out before my lease was up..
