Apartment Review for Odu Apartments - Norfolk, VA

Well I've been living here for about 3 months, since Nov. 1 when I moved out of my old place. The reason for my move was a safety issue, due to my prior residency living near E. Little Creek for only 2 months because the area was very dangerous. The first month was great, probably because it was so close to Exam time and people were quiet, but come the new semester in the month of january things started going from good to really bad. One of the students who lived in my bldg. got shot right outside, and the police reports said there would be more patrolls in the area, but haven't seen many. Plus this place is right on the border of bad living areas, so there is no protection. Walls must've been built with cardboard cause you can hear anything and everything around you. There is no parking and the city meter maids are veyr strict, even on saturdays! I really don't want to live here next year...one more thing is they raise the price ever year and expect you to ewnew the lease 6 months before your lease is up. It sucks!
