Apartment Review for Riverside Terrace Apartments - Norfolk, VA

My fiance and I moved in this complex in October of 05 with a 1 year lease. Come January 2nd we had a notice on our door that the complex was being torn down and we had t be out by March. We found a new place, gave our notice, and found out the week before we were to move that the place was NOT being torn down and we could have stayed. To this day (October 06) I haven't seen a single sign of construction, but who knows what they're trying to do. I could never get hold of hte office manager as well and they needed multple copies of paperwork that they kept losing. THere was a shooting on our side walk and lots of domestic violence that you could hear thru the walls. It's not the best part of Norfolk to live in to begin with, but not knowing if we had a place to live or not was worth the move.
