Apartment Review for Riverside Terrace Apartments - Norfolk, VA

When I lived here I experienced numerous unpleasant things. The staff is pretty unfriendly, but the roaches seem to be pretty gregarious! Yes ROACHES. I pride myself of being a clean person, and it would just kill me how these disgusting creatures would always pop up.-ALL sizes. I couldn't live there because of it, I would cry sometimes! It is not central air so you must have an AC unit to keep you cool. You must hope to God that your bedroom is facing the back of the complex so you can put a unit in there. They will NOT allow you to put any a/c units in the front of the building for aesthetic purposes. So if your bedroom is facing the front of the building...you Will roast! When you move out of the building they will charge you for ANYTHING that is wrong. Old wax on the floor (from floor wax, not a candle)is considered your fault and you will have to pay for it. Dust on blinds you will pay for too. The only good thing about this place, besides the price, is the maintenance man, Jeff. He is friendly and eager to help. Also, the lady below me died in her apartment. She was dead for 2 1/2 weeks before they found her. With in 1 month the apartment complex rented the place out again and the renting lady specifically told me not to say anything about it to the new tenants! Seriously, its not worth the price!
