Apartment Review for Sewells Park Apartments - Norfolk, VA

This was my first place and I thought it wouldn't be that bad. I was dead wrong. The maintenance people are jerks who while fixing my bath tub were cussing like sailors and talking about my dog. The floors stain so easy and we had to rechalk the floors all the time. There is never enough parking. One of the tenants was a drug dealer(i'm sure no the only one) and he was murdered in the apartment, you could walk by and see blood all over the walls. I was robbed at gunpoint twice in one moment and when i tried to break the lease the office personal wouldn't let me. They never told us there was a pet deposit or monthly charge and six month into us staying there they sprung these charges on us and wanted the money. I informed them that you can't add things that aren't in the lease. They thought I was an idiot and they could get away with it. I beg you to not move here. It is a place where you are sure to have something horrible happen to you. ROACHES!!!!!! I never knew they could get that big and everyone acts like its business as ususal when you have a closet infested with seriously over 50 roaches were coming out of a hole at the bottom of the hall closet. I now must go take a shower cause just talking about this place makes me feel disgusting.
